Terms of Service

These are the terms you agree to when you use Tabletop Tomes. We've tried to keep them short, fair, and written in plain English.
Who can use the service
You need to be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're a parent or guardian and you believe a child has created an account without your permission, contact us and we'll remove it.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity on your account. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Your content
You own what you create. Characters, journal entries, tavern posts, comments, custom emoji — it's yours. By posting it in a campaign, you grant us a limited license to store and display it to the other members of that campaign on your behalf. That license ends when you delete the content or your account.
Keep it legal and kind. Don't post:
- Content that violates someone else's rights (copyright, trademark, privacy).
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that targets individuals or groups.
- Sexually explicit material involving minors, or any content that sexualises minors.
- Malware, phishing links, or attempts to compromise the service or other users.
- Spam or bulk commercial messaging.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Game Master authority (Rule 0)
Tabletop RPGs run on Rule 0 — the Game Master is the final authority inside their campaign. Tabletop Tomes honours this. GMs can manage their campaign's settings, content, and custom rules. GMs are responsible for the tone of their campaigns and for moderating member-created content within them.
Our responsibilities
We'll make a reasonable effort to keep the service available, secure, and backed up, but we can't guarantee zero downtime, zero bugs, or zero data loss. The service is provided "as is" — we recommend you don't rely on it as the sole record of campaign history you'd be devastated to lose.
We don't read your campaign content to advertise to you or train AI systems.
Ending the relationship
You can leave any time. Use the "Delete Account" button on your Profile page to permanently remove your account and personal content. No email required, no hoops.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where feasible we'll try to give you notice and a chance to respond first.
Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. If we make material changes we'll give reasonable notice (email, in-app banner, or both) before they take effect.
